A few honest reactions from my couples after viewing proof/albums online. Also honest reactions after receiving their album to treasure. As many couples book of the strength of images online/chatting to me, I had previously avoided creating such a page, feeling sometimes it's hard to trust what you might read. My images speak for themselves, but hey ho, here are the reactions of just a few couples.

Before producing this page I was a little sceptical to do so as the web is full of made up stories and claims of this or that (especially on photography websites).

I state truthfully that all the reviews are real and I have kept copies of the emails from where they have been taken.

Hi, Tim I've had a look at the portfolio for the wedding at Goxhill, North Lincolnshire on August 28th (Sofia & Matthew) At which I was the Vicar. They are absolutely splendid and capture the spirit of the occasion perfectly. If the actual service was as good as the pics I am well pleased. As one professional to another…well done! We haven't even had our wedding yet, but the pre wedding photo shoot we had enabled us to see how our day was going to be in photographs, amazing. The photo's which were taken were out of this world. We asked for a photo print from the photo shoot and to be mounted with a border so we could use this at out wedding reception to enable people to sign the border instead of a guest book. When we saw the finished product Tim had done for us, our reaction was simply, 'Wow'. The picture was breathtaking and after very little thought we have decided not to use the print and border as it is so beautiful we would not want to change it in anyway, needless to say I have had to run out and buy a guest book, but the print will be displayed at our wedding reception as it captured our feelings towards one another. This picture will be framed after the wedding and be placed in prime position in our front room, just as it is. As for the remainder of the photo's from the shoot, well we had no other choice but to order a few more of them as they were too good to not have. We already know that our wedding photo's will be amazing. Lyndsay & Martin

Photographer's reply: When I mounted the lovely black and white print 18 x 24" for Lyndsey & Martin I said to myself, 'I don't think they will use this image as first intended as it was just so amazing!' How right I was, and such a pleasure and priviledge it is, to share and capture moments cherished for a lifetime...

As for the photos, thank you and what a lot of images! They capture the day exactly has it happened - we had a fantastic time and that really shows. In fact, we wish we'd have had the confidence to go completely against tradition and just have informal shots as these are most definitely our favourites - they capture expressions and moments that we may otherwise have forgotten. We cannot speak highly enough of your professionalism on the day and other guests commented on your unintrusive style and calm manner (not to mention your ability to balance on a chair on a high wall!) I think that will be a lasting memory for many! So, thank you for making sure that we will remember our day forever and, most importantly, exactly as it was beacuse we loved every second! What a fantastic day and what fantastic photographs to remind us. What is amazing is all of the little details that you miss as it all goes in a blur are captured forever in your wonderful pictures. Everyone commented that they didn't even realize that you were around as they felt so comfortable with your relaxed and unobtrusive style which was exactly what we wanted. We asked for no formal shots just capturing the day and you certainly delivered that and more. As you don't use flash no one was blinded or self conscious and you didn't order us all around or take over the occasion. The photographs speak for themselves they are stunning and capture the feel of the venue with it's beautiful honey coloured light in the main hall. Jessica & I would like to thank you for capturing the true essence of our wedding day from beginning to end. The mix of formal and informal shots has given us an excellent blend of the traditional and contemporary. The formal shots have provided us with a great catalogue of all the wedding attendees, together with the key players and also satisfied those more traditional family members when it comes to looking through the album and reminding is what a truly wonderful day it was. The informal shots captured the relaxed nature of the proceedings, providing us with a magnificent story board of the day and including some true gems which may otherwise have been missed or just faded from the memory. We'd also like to thank you for the way your photography didn't intrude upon the day and allowed everybody to do what they had all come along to do and to celebrate our wedding. Thank you for providing us with a truly magical record of our special day, that we can always look back upon and get the same sense of joy and pride we shared on our wedding day.
